An AMERICAN HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA - TLCI can be obtained by using www.etap.org instructional program. Our associate, TLCI (The Learning Community International School), a Maryland, USA, registered and accredited private school, offers a high school diploma Program for students using www.etap.org. eTAP instructional program meets American High school standards and including American college entrance exams courses for GED, SAT and ACT.

GED "Certificate of General Educational Development"
Although eTAP does not grant High School diplomas, you can qualify for college admission by taking the GED, or General Educational Development Test. This is a test that certifies the taker has attained high school level academic skills. For most purposes, a GED is considered to be equivalent to a high school diploma.

Approximately 95% of colleges will accept GED graduates, though they will typically require them to take the SAT and/or ACT. If a four-year college will not accept a GED graduate, they can attend any community college in the United States, after which they can transfer to almost any four-year university.

Many states will allow you to take the GED as early as age of 16. It is also possible to take the GED outside the United States and receive an International GED certificate.

To learn more out how to take the GED test in your area, please visit the American Council on Education.
